YouTube Monitization Policy
(Please read entire statement... it's short!)
Can I monitize my YouTube videos of Epic Inventor?
Yes you can!
Those with "Partner" accounts on YouTube have the ability to earn money from clicks made on ads that play during their videos. YouTube requires that you own the rights to video and music used in it, or that you can show you have permission to do so. So, this is our official "you can do so" message. Feel free to link to this page during the monitization process when asked for proof of permission.
This also covers the music and sound effects that can be heard as a result of the game being played. However, this does NOT cover the use of music or sound effects from Epic Inventor being used in other videos when seperated from Epic Inventor gameplay footage.
I myself (Weem) monitize some of my video game related videos (Weemcast), which is a big reason why I felt we needed to allow the same for Epic Inventor, and Forrest agreed (before I could even argue my case!).
With that said, please note this statement only applies to YouTube "Partner" accounts and your ability to "Monitize" Epic Inventor videos of your own creation. We ask that you do not copy and load videos of our creation, or anyone elses (as covered by the rules at YouTube) for such a use.
Finally, be aware that we reserve the right to cease providing this permission in the future (if for some reason we must). In such a case, this page will be updated accordingly.
Thanks!
Weem, Forrest and Brandon
